PESQUISA EM EDUCAÇÃO MATEMÁTICA E PSICOLOGIA HISTÓRICO-CULTURAL: ALGUNS APONTAMENTOS<br>RESEARCH IN MATHEMATICAL EDUCATION AND HISTORICAL-CULTURAL PSYCHOLOGY: SOME NOTES

Abstract

A Educação Matemática vem se constituindo, historicamente, como uma área de conhecimento com preocupação voltada ao ensino e aprendizagem da matemática. A sua identidade, enquanto área de pesquisa teórica e de atuação prática tem contado com a contribuição de diversos campos de conhecimento como, por exemplo, a Psicologia. Neste artigo, objetivando contribuir com as discussões sobre este tema, discorremos sobre a Psicologia Histórico-Cultural e as pesquisas em Educação Matemática. Para isto, trazemos algumas investigações que se fundamentam teoricamente nesta perspectiva, buscando identificar algumas contribuições relativas à formação de professores que ensinam matemática; ao ensino de matemática e às avaliações externas nesta área.

Abstract:

Mathematical Education has historically constituted as a knowledge area that concerns the teaching and learning of mathematics. Its identity, as a field of theoretical research and practical application has had the contribution of many fields of knowledge, such as Psychology, for example. In this article, we seek to contribute to discussions on this topic, as we discuss the Historical-Cultural Psychology and the researches in Mathematical Education. For this, we bring some investigations that are based on the theory of this perspective, as we seek to identify some contributions related to the training of teachers who teach mathematics, to the mathematics teaching and to the external evaluations in this area.
