Exponential function and GeoGebra: what is being discussed in the brazilian literature?

Abstract

This research is part of a thesis and the objective is to investigate how the teaching of exponential function linked to the use of GeoGebra has been discussed in articles published in the last 10 years (2010-2019) in Brazilian journals in the area of Education, whose scope contains math and / or science education. This is a qualitative bibliographic and descriptive work. It was found that the teaching of exponential function has been greatly enhanced due to its applications in the context of reality (as in biology and financial mathematics) which, associated with GeoGebra, optimize the mathematics class, giving it an experimental character that stimulates the autonomy of students, allowing them to build concepts through their multiple representations, based on the supervision of the teacher who, in addition to being a mediator, needs to incorporate and have mastery over the use of Information and Communication Technologies in the classroom.
