<strong>CURRICULUM AND PROFESSIONAL FORMATION IN EDUCATION SUPERIOR</strong>

The current text tries to link some developed studies by CTS movement (social studies from science and technology) with the professional graduation in the superior teaching. Detaches in a first moment, the emergency of CTS in Europe and in the USA, as well as in Latin America, trying to characterize their meanings and implications for the Brazilian superior teaching (CUTCLIFFE, 1989; LÓPEZ CEREZO, 1998; VON LINSINGEN, 2006; VECCAREZZA, 1998; BAZZO, W. A. 2002.). In a second moment, “it analyses the reality”, of a superior teaching institutions, trying to understand the origins and implied presupposes in the institutional pedagogic project (PPI) in what refers to understandings and the links among science, technology and society .The CTS studies in the education implicate by decurrency in a necessity of a bigger contextualization and demystification of technological and scientific knowledge and of a promotion of the public participation at decisions and control processes of science and technology usage.Downloads
