This article presents and discusses the themes, methodological approaches and implications of the formative path evidenced in the History and Epistemology of Chemistry issue in the years 2017 to 2021, in a Teaching Certificate in Chemistry of a public Education Institution. The discussions provided several didactic proposals on different topics. All these possibilities for thinking about the HC interface in teaching boosted writing, study and actions for the classroom, evidenced in the analysis of historical episodes from epistemology, historiography and science and society. The mobilization of themes and approaches for History of Science in the training of chemistry teachers, makes possible a contextual and meaningful science for students.
