This article aims to present the results of a master´s research on the application of the theoretical-methodological framework of the Socio-discursive Interactionism (SDI) for the analysis of the biblical narrative of Genesis 2,4-17. From this analysis, which can be considered a model, we intend to explore this framework of analysis as a resource for reading and interpretation of biblical texts as well. Firstly, we present the conceptual basis of the SDI, its language assumption while central aspect of human development, therefore fundamental for a science of the human. Then, we apply this model of analysis to the biblical excerpt of Genesis. Before each step of analysis, we briefly present its concept, in general, based on Bronckart´s texts. At each step of the analysis some results of the research are already discussed, although they are compiled in a systematic way in the final considerations. Thus, we can gather evidence of the potencial of the theoretical-methodological framework of the SDI for the analysis of the biblical narratives, especially, regarding to the evaluation of the models of acting prefigured in them.
