The History and Philosophy of Science (HFC), as a field of knowledge, is concerned with reflecting and interpreting social, historical and philosophical aspects in the process of building science and scientific knowledge. But what History and Philosophy of Science are being taught? What are the trends and prospects for teaching HFC? What are the links with other disciplines? What theories are present in HFC research and what are their theoretical and epistemological assumptions? Thus, this study proposed a systematic analysis of research works of a quantitative and qualitative nature from the contents of History and Philosophy of Science in the context of science teaching present in Brazilian scientific production. To this end, it sought to understand the pedagogical strategies/proposals mentioned by teachers and/or researchers when approaching HFC in the context of scientific works. A survey was carried out on the production of postgraduate programs in science education, mainly in professional masters and doctorates. The investigation took place through the methodology of Systemic Mapping. The results point to a concentration of research in the area of High School and Graduation, as well as works that present only historical clippings without contextualization and a dialogue between the teaching area of HFC and the CTS/CTSA area.
