O procedimento informático de interpretação global no esboço de curvas no ensino universitário.

Abstract

Resumo Duval assinala a importância, para a aprendizagem matemática no esboço de curvas, o procedimento que promove a interpretação global de propriedades figurais. Assinala ainda que a conversão entre as formas gráfica e simbólica da função deve ser efetuada nos dois sentidos. Para a maioria das funções que são tratadas no ensino universitário, a conversão nos dois sentidos se torna impraticável. Para essas funções, discutiremos neste trabalho um procedimento informático de conversão que se aproxima daquele preconizado por Duval. Palavras chave: Esboço de curvas. Abstract Duval points out the relevance, for mathematical learning of curve sketching, of the procedure that promotes global interpretation of figure properties. He also points out that the conversion between graphical and symbolic forms of functions must be made in both directions. For most functions that are treated in higher education, the conversion in two directions turns to be impractical.
