Each day, teaching and research techniques advance to expand the teaching of mathematics. For the effective applicability of the new concepts of mathematics, the applicability of GeoGebra becomes more required in order to propose new research and teaching techniques. In this sense, this work aims to show through a bibliometric study the theme GeoGebra for the promotion of teaching and research in mathematical science so that society as a whole can have a document that expands the discussions related to the expansion of the knowledge so necessary to every day in the areas of education. The computational data collection platform used for this bibliometric study was the Web of Science (WoS), enabling the verification of relevant works as well as the spread of scientific works internationally, giving it greater visibility and the importance of research. Therefore, it was noticed that for the GeoGebra theme there was a greater number of publications of more technical works in the form of scientific articles, thus limiting other sources of access for the wide discussion of the insertion of the applicability of the GeoGebra mathematical technique.
