Abstract

The proposal of this comunication is to make a reflection on the action of the university teacher, starting from my own practice – as has Paulo Freire always proposed - from readings, studies and researches made for class preparation as well as through the Critical Theory of Curriculum to discuss the foundations from which the teachers work must be transforming and that the teachers should assume the role as transforming intellectuals, so that acting this way they do not perpetuate the intellectual passiveness in students who wish to work as teachers in the future.
