Abstract

With the dissemination and use of new information and communication technologies (ICT), and the emergency of a cyber era (of cybernetics, cyberspace, cyber body, cyber design etc.), we face transformations of a social cultural nature and in the everyday life of the subjects, from a new context of relationship and learning mediated by images in virtual environments, in order to propose and predispose these subjects to the trading and interactional relationships as those in the actual reality. To this scenario, new references should be taken into consideration so that the contemporary subject recognizes and rescues from within the autonomy as an indispensablecondition for the effective participation in the construction of the collective future, through new processes of (in)formation. This new context imposes a new behavior to the subject/user, demanding certain ability with images at a level of participation where errancy matters. Thus what we propose here is an analysis and classification regarding the development and applicability of cyber design in hyper textual and interactive interfaces, as a resource or possibility for a visual literacy.
