<strong>EDUCATION THE DISTANCE (EAD): CHARACTERISTICS AND STRUCTURING OF A COURSE OF CONTINUOUS FORMATION OF TEACHERS</stong>

Abstract

This work discusses the characteristics and structure of EAD in courses of teachers' continuous formation, tends in view the course ' TV na Escola e os Desafios de Hoje' that it is part of the group of the public politics of teachers' formation. The courses the distance assists students/adults that are in the job market and they look for professional development. With the teachers it didn' happen different. Starting from the indicators it structures and organization, characteristics of EAD, contents of the course and conditions of the school the data demonstrated that there are still limitations in the direction of the politics of teachers' formation, mainly when the emphasis values the development of the technical competences. It is necessary to adopt politics to base on the flexibilization, autonomy and competence, in a formation perspective and professional development with base in the school and in the teachers' formative needs.
