<strong>THE ROLE OF THE TUTOR IN THE SCHOOL-FAMILY RELATIONSHIP: CONSTRUCTION AND VALIDATION OF AN INSTRUMENT</strong>

Nowadays, the difficulties of communication, relationship, and mostly building up strategies of cooperation between schools and families are issues of great interest. The relationship between parents and teachers is often affected by conflicts of interests, causing embarrassing situations between them. We believe that school is responsible of becoming closer to families, while developing a pleasant learning atmosphere for students. This only would be possible if it is based on the complete knowledge of the student’s families. We want to divulgate the results of a research that took place at elementary schools, in which we built an instrument to observe and analyse of the educational relationship that will allow us to validate the Theoretical Explicable Model. We assumed that the class’ tutor work influences the knowledge that the school has of the students’ families and develops the relationship between schools and families.Downloads
