FACETA EPISTÉMICA DEL CONOCIMIENTO DIDÁCTICO-MATEMÁTICO SOBRE LA DERIVADA

Résumé

Una enseñanza idónea de un contenido matemático específico requiere por parte del profesor de la apropiación, entre otros, de una trama compleja de conocimientos sobre el propio contenido a enseñar, los significados personales de los estudiantes sobre el mismo, así como recursos instruccionales específicos. En este trabajo presentamos una síntesis de conocimientos sobre la derivada relativos al componente epistémico del conocimiento didáctico-matemático. Utilizando las nociones de configuración epistémica y de significado holístico del “enfoque ontosemiótico” del conocimiento y la instrucción matemática presentamos una reconstrucción de dicho significado para la noción derivada, que tiene en cuenta los tipos de problemas abordados en distintos momentos históricos y los sistemas de prácticas correspondientes. Este significado holístico constituye un aspecto esencial del conocimiento didáctico-matemático del profesor de matemáticas. Abstract The effective teaching of a specific mathematical content requires that the teacher’s appropriation of a complex network of knowledge on the content to teach, the students' personal meanings about the specific topic, as well as the specific instructional resources. In this paper we present a synthesis of knowledge about the derivative concerning to the epistemic facet of didactic-mathematical knowledge. We use the notions of “epistemic configuration” and “holistic meaning” from the onto-semiotic approach in mathematics education to present a reconstruction of the holistic meaning of the derivative that takes into account the types of problems addressed in different historical moments and their systems of practices associated. This holistic meaning is an essential aspect of didactic-mathematical knowledge of the mathematics teacher.
