El siguiente artículo tiene el propósito de presentar los resultados de una experiencia de clase, a partir de una actividad planteada a través de la utilización del software GeoGebra, con el objetivo de que estudiantes de segundo año de bachillerato, exploraran el comportamiento del gráfico correspondiente a la función polinómica de tercer grado, particularmente en lo que refiere a sus raíces.
