AN ALTERNATIVE FOR THE PERMANENT TELE-FORMATION OF THE TEACHING STAFF OF THE CUBAN MUNICIPAL UNIVERSITY HEADQUARTERS

Abstract

he transformations in educational matter, that have being happening in Cuba in the last 40 years, have had a strong impact on the conception and structure of the university institutions in the island. The most recently are formation plans that facilitate the development of the local talent, through which students should not move away from their habitual works and residence places. They has demanded the selection, in each municipality, of professionals to exercise the educational work, a part of them with scarce experience of teaching in the higher education. In this paper it is presented a strategy designed to develop its educational competitions, by means of a program that combines satisfactorily the characteristics of the present modality and distance modality of postgraduate education. It is described the way that the different entities of the main university headquarters and the municipal ones intervene in the tele-formation process about university didactics.
