The DD&EM Journal – Democratic Rights & Modern State, linked to the Law School of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and hosted on the Journal Portal of the University Library, is configured as a qualified instrument for scientific dissemination and humanist reflection. Its purpose is to promote the publication of articles that stand out both for their academic rigor and ethical sensitivity, with special attention to major contemporary legal issues. In particular, the journal seeks to contribute to the debate on the challenges faced by humanity in times of pandemic, as well as to the reconstruct.
