Abstract

This article is an experience report of a project developed with students from a state school in Paraíba. The project lasted two semesters in 2021, in which, in addition to the remote classes to train the concepts of Analytical Geometry, Transformations and Cartographic Projections, activities were proposed using smartphones, using the GeoGebra application. Such a methodological application had as a highlight the fact of providing the student with the leading role in their learning, with the teacher acting only in his real role of creator, encourager and advisor in these activities in order to reach the proposed objectives. In general, there was a greater dedication of students in these activities in view of the dynamics of the teaching process in the search for meaningful learning.
