Abstract

This work approaches the curricular challenges in the integration of blended learning in higher education from the platforming scenario of society, considering the theoretical perspective of Media Ecology. Based on this theme, it aims to describe the strategies designed to integrate digital media platforms and active participatory methodologies in hybrid higher education . To achieve this objective, an action research was carried out in hybrid higher education discipline. Data collection took place through participant observation and literature review. The qualitative analysis was implemented through the categorization of records made by the professor and tutor of the discipline. With the results, it was verified the contribution of the innovation of the educational models from a curriculum that allows adaptations in its elements.

Natana Lopes Pereira, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

Doctoral student in the Graduate Program in Engineering and Knowledge Management. Master in Information and Communication Technologies at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2019). Specialist in Integrated Media in Education - IFSC (2022). Degree in Information and Communication Technologies (TIC/UFSC). Instructional Designer on the project – Synthesis Center of the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Member of the CNPQ Media and Knowledge Research Group (LabMídia).

Marcio Vieira de Souza, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

PhD in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2002). Has experience in the area of ​​​​media and knowledge, communication, political sociology, Distance Education, digital media, working mainly on the following topics: communication and education, media and knowledge, innovation in education, network education, sociology and technology, networks and media social networks, social network analysis (ARS), video and democracy,  sustainable development and  information and communication technologies (ICT), research methodology and active methodologies in education. He is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) where he is one of the leaders of the UFSC Media and Knowledge Research Group (CNPq) and works at the Department of Engineering and Knowledge Management (DEGC-UFSC). Permanent professor in the Graduate Program in Engineering and Knowledge Management. Coordinator of LabMídia (Media and knowledge laboratory) at UFSC.
