Panorama of the production in orofacial myofunctional disorders

Abstract

In this research work we have analyzed the literature on Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders, authored by Brazilian speech pathologists from 1970 to 2000, regarding the authorship, date of publications, international references and approach theme. The interest in this issue follows the observation of the breadth and the role which Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders treatment represents in the realm of Speech Pathology. In order to achieve this purpose we examine books, chapters and journal articles.
