Speech therapy (or phonaudiologic therapeutical) in a case of written language: Eros’s path to find the sleeping princess
Keywords:
written language, speech language pathology interventionAbstract
This article proposes to discuss the use of speech therapy in a case of written language, while it also approaches aspects of the patient’s educational context and family environment. The subject is an 18-yearold man, henceforth named Eros, who presented little development in his written production, as well as a restrict cultural universe. The article refers to precepts by Winnicott and Bakhtin, authors who, within their own fields of knowledge, psychoanalysis and the philosophy of language, adopt combining positions in their vision of man. Thus, we have demonstrated that he was somewhat capable of appropriating the cultural object – the written form – to integrate facets of himself.Downloads
